Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has declared Chandigarh as a Model solar City vide letter No. 3/1/2008-UICA(SE) dated 18th.Feb.2008 for which a master plan was prepared and submitted to the Ministry for approval. The designated committee of the Ministry approved the master plan on 4th of January, 2012. |
